Toni (Maria Antònia) Miserachs i Ribalta was born in Barcelona in 1942. She studied graphic design at the Elisava School in Barcelona (1962-1965). Her first professional apprenticeship was carried out in the “Propaganda” Department of the Geigy Pharmaceutical Laboratories, from 1963-1966, under the direction of Yves Zimmermann. In the period 1966-1967 she worked at the Industrias Gráficas Francesc Casamajó company. In 1965 she opened her own design studio, which she kept until 2009.

She was a founding member of both the FAD Visual Communication Group (1971) and the Association of Professional Designers (ADP), of which she was president during the period 1994-1997.

Among her works and clients we can highlight both public institutions and private companies. Respecting the first ones, she worked for various departments of the Government of Catalonia, for the Barcelona City Council or for cultural institutions such as museums. In the private sector, she had clients from liberal professionals, shops, companies, hotels, foundations or entities. For them he produced anagrams and logos, corporate graphic image applications, communication materials, signages, posters or ex libris.

A large part of her activity is dedicated to editorial graphic design. She has worked for magazine publishers, publishers such as Lumen, Ketres, Edhasa, Ediciones 62, Polígrafa and many others, as well as designing the publications edited by her public and private clients. Her collaboration with Encyclopedia Catalana stands out, with encyclopedic works, such as the Biosphere, Natural History of Catalan Countries and the Atles d’history of Catalonia.
In 1989 she created the “Blanc de Fil” company, together with Roser Giralt and Eulalia Serra, dedicated to textile design.
